Core Machining Capabilities
Mill-Turn Machining
Turning and milling in one sequence. Fewer setups, tighter part-to-part consistency, and more efficient flow from raw stock to finished spec.
5-Axis Machining
We run 28 five-axis vertical mills across the platform, built for components with compound angles, tight features, and surfaces that have to hold on every face.
Swiss Machining
Our 23 Swiss screw machines are built for programs that need high-count production of close-tolerance parts without giving up consistency across the run.
Wire & Sinker EDM
High-accuracy cutting for fine features, difficult materials, tight internal radii, and geometries that conventional machining cannot reliably hold.
Laser Cutting & Fabrication
Precision laser cutting combined with fabrication support for forming, assembly, and structural part completion.
Additional Capabilities
Fully automated machining solutions, including pallet systems, robotic machine tending, and lights-out manufacturing, run across the platform.

Compass Precision facilities regularly machine aluminum alloys, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, Monel, tool steel, copper, brass, nickel-based alloys, and a range of engineering plastics including PEEK and Delrin. Material capability varies by facility and program requirements.

A Platform Built on Shared Standards
Certifications across the Compass Precision platform include ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, ITAR, CMMC, and AWS, held at the facility level based on the programs each facility runs. What does not vary is the documentation practice, the inspection protocol, and the traceability standard. In-process inspection is built in, not performed at the end.
