Mill-turn machines combine turning and milling on one platform. A part that would normally move through a lathe, then a milling center, then back for finishing can be completed in a single setup, holding tighter tolerances across the full feature set because the part never leaves the machine.

For programs with cylindrical or rotational features that also require milling, cross-holes, or angled surfaces, mill-turn machining reduces setup variation and shortens lead time without trading off dimensional control.
