Precision CNC machining and in-house fabrication, from laser cutting to finished assembly, for programs that need more than a machine shop.
Facilities
Quality Products & Machine
Quality Products & Machine is one of the three founding companies of the Compass Precision platform, delivering precision machining and fabrication to OEM manufacturers in power generation, aerospace and defense, and industrial markets for decades. The company handles programs from prototype through production, with Dustin Jones serving as Vice President and General Manager.
What separates Quality Products from a standard machining shop is the fabrication operation running alongside it. Laser cutting, metal forming, press brake work, turret punching, MIG
and TIG welding, and assembly are all in-house, so programs that need both machined and fabricated elements stay in one facility. An in-house engineering team capable of design-for-manufacturability review and new assembly designs means programs can move from concept through finished assembly without adding outside vendors.
As part of the Compass Precision platform, Quality Products & Machine gives customers the fabrication depth of a dedicated job shop backed by the broader capacity, shared systems, and coordinated support of a multi-site manufacturing platform.

Capabilities
Where They Excel
Machining and Fabrication Under One Roof
Quality Products built its reputation on pairing CNC machining with a full fabrication department, so programs that need both machined and formed or welded components never have to leave the building. Work moves from design review through laser cutting, forming, welding, and final assembly without handing off to an outside vendor along the way.
Core Capabilities
Shared Platform Capabilities
CNC Milling
3 and 4-axis vertical and horizontal CNC machining supports production programs that need consistent dimensional output. Horizontal machining capability adds chip clearance on complex parts and multi-face access that vertical mills cannot match as efficiently.
Fiber Optic Laser Cutting
A pallet-equipped fiber optic laser handles high-throughput cutting on sheet and plate. The pallet system keeps the laser running unattended, so throughput stays consistent without constant operator attention.
Metal Forming and Fabrication
Press brake forming, turret punching, and MIG and TIG welding round out the in-house fabrication line, handling large structural components and the complex bend sequences that come standard with combined machining and fabrication programs.
Assembly
Finished assemblies stay inside the facility rather than shipping sub-assemblies out to a separate integrator, keeping multi-component programs under one roof from first part to final build.
Inspection and Engineering Support
A sheet metal inspection system gives rapid, high-accuracy measurement on laser-cut and fabricated parts at production volume, backed by an in-house engineering team for design-for-manufacturability review.
